Winter light

In the days of rain and clouds and darkness the shadows of these great trees are just another layer of shadow.

The winter offers us a clear cold glimpse of mountains covered in snow,  The Salish sea trying on new colors.  And the expanse of blue and orange and pink sky calling us from our grey hovel.

Get out of the tree's shadow if only for a glimpse of the bright light it reaches toward.
