Christmas Continues
We travelled to Illinois last week to be with my family. We celebrated and feasted with my family by exchanging presents, gobbling up everything in sight and by bringing home the traditional family stomach flu (really it seems to be a Christmas tradition!). We arrived home on Sunday night and are trying to keep the spirit alive still! After all we are going to celebrate with the O'Mahoney's later this week and Sean and I want Christmas to be a season and not a day!
So how are we trying to keep it going. Well we are getting together the gifts we have to give each other and others. After all, we don't care if people get gifts late. We are writing out some Christmas cards, moving the wise men all over the house during this holiday season, listening to Christmas music and in general trying to keep the spirit alive.
So as our family grows and develops we want to figure out what to do with these days between Christmas Day and Ephipany and how to make Christmas a season as much as anything.
We'll see how it goes.
Hooray for extended Christmas seasons. Junia looks so big and adorable! We just got a few inches of snow, which is helping prolong the twelve days of Christmas :-) My grandfather was a big advocate of stretch Christmas until Epiphany - I love it.
