A half a snow day...
A snow day is a great thing. Today is not a snow day.
No snow at all is depressing. But only because it is so ordinary when you are expecting extraordinary. But we move on, we get over it.
A half a snow day is the worst of all. Because that means the snow is not hanging out and being beautiful but slowly turning into gunk. It means that you don't have the pleasure of any part of your day because it is to chunky and disorienting to be helpful.
This is especially true when you have a toddler. But to be honest, it was true before her.
