Advent Reflection 1

Hope.

What is hope for me?

Hope that my failings don't totally fuck my kids up.
Hope- the belief that my tiny little part of making the world a better place matters.

Hope.
Waiting in hope.

Hoping that there comes a time when I get to see the kingdom.
When God is He and She.
We love really is stronger than hate.
When anger is meaningful.


I am not sure what this Advent means this year.
Last year I was pregnant.
This year Junia is totally engaged in the process.

This year I love where we are living, and still dreaming.
Hope.
Light.
Darkness.
Waiting.
Christ.
Coming again.
Solstice.
