On getting away...and Granndparents

We had a night away!

Really a whole afternoon, evening, night and morning away!  It was wonderful!

Wedding reception. Great dinner. Free drinks. Dancing. A hotel with a view. A morning walk to Pike Place for pastry and coffee.

And, we realize that we would never ask a babysitter to watch our kids for a whole night.
At least not at these ages.
And we would be more apprehensive that the babysitter was miserable.
But Grandparents aren't just doing it for us.
Also for themselves.

And this makes it all possible.
