Feb 22: I love having access to healthcare
Our 3 day weekend should've been a delightful trip away. It should have been relaxing to be with S's family. It should have involved a nice (albeit chilly) walk along the beach.
Instead, my sinus infection decided to officially declare itself as irrepairable by home remidy and I made a trip to the ER (no urgent care on Whidbey Island is open on Sunday it was not an emergency). With help from perscription pain reliever and some anti-biotics I am slowly making the road to recovery. I am feeling pretty grateful though for the privelege of medicine.
