Making a thread holder with driftwood!
I needed a way to store my thread.
I've been putting it in a drawer at my sewing table. Which has mostly meant that I used white or grey thread for everything. Even if I had the right color I just didn't want to bother going through the thread drawer.
A couple of months ago I brought home a hunk of driftwood from the beach. I put some tape on it and basically "washed" it with watercolor paint. It looked cool but I didn't know what I was going to do with it.
Then, as my ideas do, it came all at once . . .Drill some holes, poke in some dowels, ta-da awesome new thread holder. And, I LOVE IT!
Here is the question. Do you think that I could sell these on etsy?
