Beach walk on Vashon.
When we have a day off together and aren't cleaning, running errands, or heading into Seattle we go beach walking...
We sink in mud, and tromp through puddles.
We discovered the bay that all the Island's pine cones float to.
We keep our eyes down looking for special beach prizes.
We discovered a whole city of sand dollars!
And we pondered having oysters for dinner.
We gazed at shorebirds.
And wondered if we should have mussels for dinner.
We killed millions and millions of barnacles while stomping around.
And Sean tried out his new low tide islander boots...his feet stayed dry.
But alas, 2 falls later and it we were done.
Back over the driftwood and back to the car.
