September Garden in Seattle

I forgot, again this year, that September is still a glorious month for Seattle gardens!  Our tomatoes are coming into their own.  Don't get me wrong, it's not like tomatoes in California or the south or even just parts of the country that get really stinkin' hot but, I picket enough tomatoes to cover the bottom of one of my harvesting baskets.  This is pretty exciting!

Tonight for dinner? Tomato Pie!

I picked the Walla Walla onions which are small but oh so sweet!  And we have a bounty of Zucchini.  Okay, it's not a bounty really, but one or two a week is just fine for us.

Check out this Summers garden growth! Yay!

Taken September 3, Take note of the very dead grass.
