I love...the Saturday Wall Street Journal
Most American newspapers are crap to read on Saturdays...the Seattle Times included. For Canadians the Saturday newspaper is the rock star. It's our version of the Sunday paper.
But Saturdays around these parts seem to be so much more conducive to actually slowly reading through the paper. For some reason our Saturdays have a lingering messy quality that just works with having sections of the newspaper sitting around for hours on end.
On a normal day the Wall Street Journal would not be our cup of tea. Come on? Two ministers and a toddler reading the WSJ? A joke right! But their Saturday paper is a delight! Full of book reviews, analysis of news, thoughts on culture. Just the right amount of stuff. I always learn something, am intrigued by something and pass something by.
